BGWA Guided Bird Hike: July 22

BGWAs next event, Birds in Your Meadow and Woodlands, will take place Saturday July 22, from 10AM – noon, at the Grey-Sauble Conservation Aboretum (off Inglis Falls Rd). We have secured birding experts Erik and Elaine Van Den Kieboom to take us on an informative guided hike which will teach landowners and woodlands enthusiasts about the variety of birds found in meadows and forests in the Bruce Grey area.

Each participant will receive a 70-page full colour booklet on stewardship techniques for bird habitat in grasslands, marginal farmland and woodlands with descriptions of many Ontario bird species.

This event will run rain or shine.  Meet by 10AM sharp at the picnic pavilion. Bring binoculars if you have them, and bug spray if you need it.

Advance registration is not required, but is appreciated to help us plan. Also, by registering you will receive notification of any changes.

You will not receive an email confirmation. After you click Submit, once you see “Message Sent” you know it was successful.

Thanks for the suggestion Ron. Cam is organizing this one so, since you are on the events committee with him, perhaps confer directly with Cam. I can send out an invite to any groups the events committee would like added to this event.
