All BGWA members are invited to c’mon out Saturday, September 12, 10AM – 2PM, at Allan Park (click for map and park description) for our annual BBQ. This year, as a special member benefit, BGWA has contracted Fungi Unveiled (who did the lively & informative presentation at this year’s Woodlot Conference) to provide an educational mushroom foraging hike in the morning. We will also offer a tree ID walk as an alternative, if you’re not interested in mushrooms or have mobility limitations which prevent you from doing the hike.
