The primary goal of the Arboretum is to increase public knowledge and appreciation of indigenous trees
and shrubs of Grey and Bruce and their ecological roles. The 1.4 km Trees of Grey-Bruce trail features over 100 native species. The 6 acre Trees of the World section is home to 65 mature species of exotic and native trees and shrubs.
In addition to the Trail and the nursery/propagation area, there is a Wildflower Meadow and a Pollinator Garden – both should be in full bloom. Come learn about an exciting new planting and labeling project made possible with funds granted through the Toronto Dominion Friends of the Environment Fund.
