Tomorrow the full moon peaks at 9:36 PM in this area. It is also a “supermoon” which is when the moon is closest to earth and tends to look a bit larger and looming than it usually does, especially as it rises from the horizon. The moonrise begins at 7:37. Whether from the fields during moonrise or from your favourite woodlands once it is high in the sky, what a great opportunity to experience some awe, peace and wonder. And if you happen to take a photo, send it to info@bgwa.ca we would love to publish members’ woodland pictures on our web site. If the forecast for Tuesday evening looks cloudy, get out there tonight or Wednesday, it will be no less spectacular!
Thanks, Neil. We shall take in the full (or mostly full) moon.
