Sat July 11: Exclusive Member Event!

ruralrootzBGWA’s next event of the year is Sat 11 July 10AM start, end around noon: an exclusive tour at Rural Rootz private nature reserve, just northwest of Wiarton. Rural Rootz is a unique 100 acre property with wide variety of woodlands, geology, and land management uses for members to experience and develop new ideas. In addition to the network of trails (including an official satellite trail to the Bruce Trail), Rural Rootz includes walking labyrinths, a healing garden, and extensive flower gardens. There is no cost to this guided tour for members but registration is required and is limited to 20 people (max 2 per membership). If any spots remain a few days prior, they will be opened to non-me  mbers or guests at a nominal cost. Rural Rootz (click for map) is located north off Bruce Road 13, about 2 km west of Hwy 6 north of Wiarton.
