Was I ever disappointed to miss the BBQ this year… great weather, lots of members, and a personal tour of the historic water filtration plant at Inglis Falls. But thanks, as always, to Larry Cluchey for promptly supplying pictures and captions a photo gallery is now available in the Members’ Area in case you missed it, or if you attended and would like to see some good memories.

Sep 15 BBQ Registration Open!

The BGWA BBQ, our annual social event, will take place Saturday September 15, rain-or-shine, 10AM-2PM, at the picnic pavilion on the GSCA Administration Centre located at 237897 Inglis Falls Road, this year featuring a tour of the historic Inglis Falls Water Filtration Plant plus a choice of guided walks through the Arboretum and/or the Bruce trail along the Niagara Escarpment.

Cost for members, and interested others, is $10/person (children are free) and includes a delicious BBQ meal, desserts, plus the guided tour and/or hikes. Register by end-of-day Wednesday September 12 for a chance at winning this definitive guide to the therapeutic practice on the art and science of how trees can promote health and happiness (draw applies to members only).

In 4 weeks it’s our annual Members’ BBQ, once again at the Grey-Sauble Arboretum pavilion off Inglis Falls Road, and it is shaping up to be an especially great event. We are lining up tour of the historic Inglis Falls Water Filtration Plant.
