Estimates produced by Agriculture and Agrifood Canada using the Coupled Global Climate Model predict a 1 to 2 degree Celsius increase in monthly average temperatures by 2010 to 2039, resulting in earlier crop seeding dates, and later fall frost dates in Grey-Bruce and most other areas of south and central Ontario. EAB confirmed in Owen Sound

Emerald Ash Borer has been confirmed in trees in Owen Sound for the first time. City officials say the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry sampled three boulevard ash trees in the 1000 blocks of 2nd Avenue East and confirmed EAB infestation. Read full story on Bayshore News.
