Come join Susan McGowan and Donna Lacey for a snowshoe hike and tree identification in winter conditions. Learn about identifying trees using twigs, bark, and tree form on a very diverse site.
When: Saturday March 7 at 1:30 PM to 4 PM
Where: Massie Hills Management Area
Directions: From Rockford travel east on Grey County Road 18 to Concession 6 South (3rd road on south side), turn right (only choice), travel south past the first intersection to the middle of the next concession to Massie Hills. Parking lot is on the right. Civic address is 497250.

Duration/Length: Less than 4 Km (depends on conditions that day)
Difficulty / Pace: Slow pace to allow for lots of discussion. Parts of the hike will be on sloping ground and conditions could be icy.
What to wear/bring: Snowshoes (or icers if icy conditions), snack, drink
Cost: Free
Maximum Number of People: 15 people (to allow everyone to hear and ask questions.
