AGM Registration & Educational Feature

Our AGM will take place in two weeks, Sat FEB 25th at Grey Roots Museum starting at 9:30AM. As always, it will feature a learning component followed by a business meeting. Based on the success of our movie screening last month, we have arranged permission to show a fascinating documentary on forest management.

A Working Forest (click for movie trailer) looks at key themes such as reforestation, wildfires, wildlife and people, capturing the contributions of family-owned woodlands to society and builds an understanding of all the ways that woodlands contribute to our well being–from wildlife habitat to drinking water to fighting climate change.

The AGM is open to members as well as others with an interest in woodlands.  In fact, we would invite members to ask along a friend or neighbour… they can enjoy the movie then either stay for the business meeting or enjoy the exhibits of Grey Roots (including the Extraordinary Tree exhibition!) at a special reduced admission rate before some social time for everyone afterwards.

Please register in advance to help us plan for numbers and order refreshments!

You will not receive a separate email confirmation. If you see Message Sent after clicking “Submit”, your registration was successful.
